Tinker Tailor Solider Sailor

Artisan Gallery in Brisbane has a great exhibition coming up that showcases the work of 100 of Australia’s best female jewellers. Out of the 100 jewellers in the exhibition, 16 are represented by Bilk Gallery. How fantastic is that?

Congratulations to all those involved.

Elements in artful harmony

More Johannes for our eager readers! We’ve finally got our hot hands on Issue 45 of Indesign Magazine, which is a fantastic article by the way.

“If Kuhnen’s energy for problem solving seems boundless, so does his enthusiasm. He is extraordinarily productive, and testament to this, a comprehensive retrospective exhibition, called A Survey of Innovation, was recently organised by, and first shown at , the School of Art Gallery, ANU…it was a singular opportunity to amass, document and take stock of his life’s work to date.” Luminary Indesign, Jan Howlin

To celebrate we thought we would post this review by Kerry-Anne Cousins of Johannes exhibition A Survey of Innovation, selected works of which were shown at Bilk Gallery in March this year. (click to enlarge)
